Generally, in 99% of cases, your personal data remains completely safe during my repair process. Specifically, because i specialise in hardware-level fixes—such as replacing broken HDMI ports, disc drives, and charging ports—these repairs do not physically touch your hard drive storage.

However, if your hard drive itself is corrupted or failing, i may need to replace it. In this rare instance, i would always contact you first to discuss your options. However, there are rare exceptions to this rule. For instance, if you suspect your specific external power brick or controller is actually the cause of the fault, i will explicitly ask to see it.
