Console Repairs in Wakefield – Same-Day PS5, Xbox & GHD Repairs

Most repairs are completed the same day once booked in, especially PS5 and Xbox HDMI, no power and overheating faults. If a job needs more time (for parts or deeper diagnosis), I’ll tell you up front and keep you updated.

Yes. Most hardware repairs come with a written 6‑month warranty, covering the work I’ve carried out and the parts I’ve fitted. If a problem comes back within that period, I’ll sort it.

In most cases, no. HDMI, power and cooling repairs are done at board level, so your games and saves stay as they are. If a repair could risk data loss (for example, a failing hard drive), I’ll explain that before we go ahead.

If I can’t repair your console, you don’t pay for the repair itself. For more complex faults I may charge a small diagnostic fee to cover time and testing, but I’ll always explain that before you book in

Usually, no. I have test power leads, HDMI cables and controllers in the workshop. In most cases you can just bring the console – if I need anything else, I’ll let you know.

I repair PlayStation and Xbox consoles, plus controllers and GHD & Cloud 9 hair straighteners. That includes PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

PS5 HDMI port replacement is £80. That includes removing the damaged port, fitting a reinforced HDMI 2.1 port and fully testing the console before collection.

It’s always best to contact me first so I can confirm availability and book your console in. Once we’ve agreed a time, you can drop it at my WF3 workshop and I’ll let you know when it’s ready to collect.
